Elinor Olsson
Junior Consultant & Coordinator
Elinor Olsson is a Junior Consultant and Assisting Coordinator at Rights Hand. She contributes to the implementation of evaluation, investigation, and development assignments targeting public sector authorities, municipalities, and civil society organisations in Sweden and internationally. Her work primarily centres on proposal writing, coordinating interviews and workshops, and contributing to report writing.
Evaluation and Organisational Learning
Elinor participates as a team member in evaluation and investigation assignments spanning areas such as international development cooperation, capacity building, and public sector operations. Her contributions include data collection and compilation, conducting interviews, participating in workshops, and writing report sections. She has also contributed to the development of theories of change and co-authored a research review on children’s rights perspectives in urban development.
Proposal Writing, Coordination and Administration
Elinor writes proposals for new assignments and is responsible for coordinating interviews and maintaining contact with interview subjects and other stakeholders. She also manages a broad range of administrative tasks that support the organisation’s day-to-day work, including communication through social media and identifying consultants to complement the team in assignments requiring specific expertise.
International Experience
Elinor completed an internship with Future In Our Hands in The Gambia for one semester. There she participated in field work across villages, documented project activities, and contributed to communication materials. She was also tasked with independently developing a policy on the rights and responsibilities of staff and interns.
Educational Background
Elinor is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Leadership and Command and Control for Defence, Crisis Management and Security at the Swedish Defence University, with a focus on governance and decision-making in complex environments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Gothenburg, with an emphasis on democracy, gender equality, and human rights, as well as standalone courses in project management and investigation, peace and conflict studies, and Agenda 2030. She has also completed a facilitation course in Bucharest as part of the IAF Europe and the Middle East Conference (2025).

Elinor’s academic and professional interests centre on issues of gender, peace and security, human rights, and international development cooperation, themes that recur across both her studies and the assignments she contributes to.
