Linnéa Aldman is a senior and experienced evaluator and analyst with extensive experience across the public, non-profit, and private sectors.

With a solid background in both practical and academic work, she offers expertise in evaluations, reviews, and follow-ups of projects, operations, and organisations.

Linnéa also has experience working with applied research, project management, and process facilitation.

Linnéa is an experienced consultant and evaluator who has worked on a wide range of evaluations and organisational analysis across multiple sectors. She has conducted evaluations and assessments for government agencies, regional and municipal authorities, as well as various organisations.

Linnéa’s work frequently focuses on areas such as labour market and integration, skills provision and lifelong learning, international development cooperation, civil society, and digitalisation.

Evaluations and Organisational Learning

Linnéa has conducted a range of evaluations and reviews of projects, operations, and organisations within fields such as labour market and integration, skills provision, international development cooperation, and digitalisation. Her assignments have spanned both Sweden and international settings, where she has collaborated with civil society organisations, businesses, and public entities. Through these assignments, she has not only developed snapshots of the current state and analyses of past efforts but has also helped clients to shape future strategies and guidelines. Her work often focuses on long-term and sustainable solutions that strengthen organisational capacity and future development.

Strategic Organisational Development

Her expertise extends to reviewing and assessing how organisational systems and processes function, focusing on their effectiveness, reliability, and adherence to internal and external requirements. These types of analyses helps to uncover strengths and weaknesses, refine procedures, and ensure organisational objectives are met. Notably, she has carried out system-based reviews of Sida funds, thoroughly examining resource allocation and compliance with guidelines. She also brings substantial experience in evaluating projects funded by institutions like the European Social Fund (ESF).

Intersectional Perspective and Gender Analysis

Linnéa has considerable experience in applying an intersectional perspective in her work. This approach, which considers multiple power structures simultaneously—such as gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status—can enhance the understanding of complex social dynamics. Through this lens, deeper insights are gained into how different identities and power structures interact and influence people’s living conditions, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the complex factors affecting various groups.

Within the framework of evaluations of European Social Fund (ESF) projects, Linnéa has carried out detailed analyses of horizontal principles such as non-discrimination, gender equality, and diversity to assess how well these principles are integrated into project activities and outcomes.

Intercultural Competence

With her experience in conducting evaluations with an ethnographic focus, Linnéa has developed a deep understanding of sociocultural connections and contexts. An ethnographic focus means that the experiences, thoughts, and actions of target groups are placed within a sociocultural context, increasing the possibility of understanding not only how people think but also why they act the way they do. A social anthropological approach, combined with a norm-critical and intersectional perspective, can enhance the understanding of factors influencing values and behaviours. She has studied intercultural communication at university and has experience working with people and groups from various cultural backgrounds and histories, both in Sweden and in other countries such as Bangladesh, Georgia, South Africa, and Australia, among others.

Educational Background and Board Assignments

Linnéa has a multifaceted educational background. She holds a degree in political science and has studied global studies and security studies at institutions such as Linnaeus University and the Swedish Defence University. She also studied a master’s degree in European Studies at Lund University and has complemented her education with courses in project management, gender studies, impact evaluation, and intercultural communication. Linnéa has also served as a board member of the Swedish Red Cross Youth Association in Växjö and is actively involved in several civil society organizations, such as VOOV (Veterinary Care for Victims of Violence).
